View Driver Logs to check the status, state, and duty log information of your fleet’s drivers.
A benefit of this report is that Live Status provides map-based information on driver location, and gives access to the details of the driver’s state and status, as well as driving. Drivers are filtered by dispatcher and only those drivers associated to the current or selected dispatcher are displayed.
Filter and Search Driver Logs
To access Driver Logs:
- On the main menu, click Reports, under Zonar Logs, select Driver Logs. The ZLogs page appears, displaying the Driver Logs tab.
- Do the following to filter your search results, and then click Search :
|Basket||Use the basket tool to track selected drivers/assets that you have selected in the results table. The filter removes all non-selected items and displays only those items you selected in the basket.|
|Filter by Status||Expand the drop-down menu and select one of the following driver statuses:
|Search By||Expand the drop down menu and select one of the following attributes:
Driver Log Results
The Driver Logs tab displays a list of drivers on the left-side menu matching your search criteria previously defined.
- Click a driver name in the list, and the log displays the following information. Selected drivers appear highlighted in orange.
Overview tab Click to view an overview of the driver’s status. AOBRD tab Click to view specific, daily, logs. Recent Logs
Click one of the following to change the view of miles logged:
Day—displays the current day’s duty log.
Week—displays duty logs for each day of the last week. Click a day option to view the log.
Month— display a large range of logs over the current month. Click the calendar to view logs associated with a day to view a detailed log. To toggle the view, click the 24-hour tab to display duty states or the Reset view tab to display only Off-Duty and Sleeper Berth times, to better track driver’s time to reset their HOS.
Duty Log graph Displays how the selected driver has logged their hours. Hover the mouse over the green bar to display the current driver state details. Map Displays the driver’s current position in a small, focused map.
You cannot move or manipulate the map; it is a static snapshot of the driver’s location.
- Occasionally, dispatchers may need to add a log to their driver(s). To add logs, select a driver, click the AOBRD Logs tab, and then click Add Log.
You can only add logs as a single day. You cannot add logs by weeks or months.
- In the Add Driver Log popup window, do the following, and then click Save/Send to Driver:
Shipping Info Displays current load information. Log Preview Displays the daily log of the selected driver, and how additional entries will affect it. Add Entry Click to create a new entry in the selected driver’s log, add time, status, location, and notes to complete the Add Entry form, and then click Add. Status Entries Displays the driver’s status, as well as the location and time in which that status started. Add Load Click to add new load information for the new log, add a Shipper, a Tractor, a Trailer, a Co-driver, Shipping No. or Commodity information, expand the Apply Starting From list and select a location, and then click Add.
Export as PDF or CSV
- In the left-side list of drivers, click the check box next to the driver name(s) for which you want to export driver logs.
- On the PDF Export tab or the CSV Export tab, complete the following information:
Print in Black and White PDF Option: Select this check box if you want the data to print in gray scale only. Selection options: PDF Option: Select one of the following options:
Summary View: displays the change of duty statuses ONLY. Detail View: Displays ALL log details.
Display Violations: appears in multi-colored coded grid.
Hide Violation: appears in one color-coded grid.
Date Range Expand the dropdown menu and select an option:
Day, and then click the to select the day. Current Duty/Period CycleMonth, and then select the month from the list. Last 6 months (180 days)Custom, and then click to set the start and end dates.
- Click Export.
