A message to the Zonar community regarding COVID-19
On behalf of the Zonar team, I’d like to share a brief update on how we’re addressing business continuity during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Our top concern is the health and safety of the people on our teams, the people on your teams that we interact with, as well as the health of the communities in which we operate.
We remain available to support your business.
We have closed our offices and tech center in the Seattle area in accordance with our governor’s orders to stay home until at least April 6th, 2020. However, because many of our customers are providing essential services as defined by the DHS and our services are a essential part of those businesses’ operational capabilities, we’re continuing to operate our distribution centers using social distancing and other appropriate practices recommended by state and national authorities.
The remainder of our Seattle area staff is working from home. We’re also taking appropriate precautions with our field-based teammates and subcontractors to protect them and your teams as they support your businesses. For situations where customer and/or travel restrictions are in effect, Zonar is providing virtual and remote options to support customers including webinars, video conferencing, and other capabilities.
While our offices are closed, you can reach us through the usual channels – our phone system is remotely accessible for most of our team – and email and other digital channels are working. If you’re shipping us something, please be sure you send it to one of our distribution centers.
Using these approaches, we’ve been able to maintain customer support and other business needs through teammates working from home. While none of us are certain what’s next in regard to this public health emergency, we believe our plans will allow us to maintain our high business continuity goals and continue to serve your needs.
Please bookmark our customer support site as we’ll post relevant updates as things evolve.
Sincerely,
Ian McKerlich
Zonar President & CEO
