I can't access EVIR Mobile Web from Ground Traffic Control.
Have a Ground Traffic Control admin check to see if your user account has at least one of the following EVIR2 permissions enabled:
- evir2customeradmin
- evir2mechanic
- evir2supervisingmechanic
I can't log into the EVIR Mobile App.
- You must be a user in Ground Traffic Control. An admin can verify this under Manage > Users.
- You must use the same email address and password that you use to log into Ground Traffic Control. If you don't know your password, you can request a reset password email.
- Your Ground Traffic Control user account must have at least the following user permission enabled:
- evir2inspectorwithrentals
My asset is not showing up in the EVIR Mobile app.
- In Ground Traffic Control, go to Manage > Assets, then click the pencil icon next to asset in question to edit the asset.
- Check that Inspection Device is set to EVIR Mobile.
If Inspection Device is not set to EVIR Mobile:
- If you have an EVIR Mobile subscription for this asset, contact Zonar Customer Support to request enabling EVIR Mobile.
If Inspection Device is set to EVIR Mobile:
- Check that the Zonar Tag field has a tag number entered.
- Check that the Asset Subtype is set. If it does not, assign the correct subtype. This is what determines the vehicle type for the inspection configuration in the app.
It may take up to 5 minutes after these changes for it to be recognized in the application.
My asset is showing as the wrong type of vehicle in the EVIR Mobile app.
- In Ground Traffic Control, go to Manage > Assets, then click the pencil icon next to asset in question to edit the asset.
- Check that the Asset Subtype is set correctly. If it does not, assign the correct subtype. This is what determines the vehicle type for the inspection configuration in the app.
It may take up to 5 minutes after these changes for it to be recognized in the application.
My asset tags or zone tags are not scanning.
- Make sure the tags being used are the NFC-capable tags, not the older RFID-only tags.
- The NFC capable tags have the NFC logo "N" printed under the Zonar logo.
