Asset List
The Asset List page shows all the assets in your fleet and their properties.

Filters: Select individual filters to narrow the list to only desired events.
- Home Location: Click to select one or more locations as defined in Manage Locations. Defaults to all locations.
- Asset Properties: Click to select one or more asset properties as defined on this page. Defaults to all assets.

Assets: Displays the list of assets matching the selected filters. The number in parentheses indicates the total number of assets.
- Asset: Displays the name of the asset as defined in Manage Assets.

Asset Details: Click to display details associated with the asset including odometer, VIN, GPSID, and other properties.
- Vehicle Type: Displays the type of vehicle as provided by the VIN, if available.
- Model Year: Displays the year of manufacture as provided by the VIN, if available.
- Make: Displays the manufacturer as provided by the VIN, if available.
- Model: Displays the vehicle model as provided by the VIN, if available.
- Custom Properties: Any custom properties defined by your company also appear here. If an asset has been assigned a value for that property it is displayed here.
- Edit: Click to view the asset's properties and their source, and edit any applicable custom properties. See Edit Asset Properties for more information.
- Bulk Edit: Select one or more assets using the checkbox next to the asset name, then click Bulk Edit to assign custom properties to all selected assets. See Bulk Edit for more information.
- Manage custom properties: Click to add, edit, or delete custom properties and their values. See Manage Custom Properties for more information.
Edit Asset Properties
This page displays specific information about the selected asset.
- Asset Details: Displays details about the asset which are defined in Manage Assets.
- Asset Properties: Displays details about the asset which are derived from the VIN.
- Custom Properties: If you have custom properties defined, you can assign the appropriate value to the asset here.
Bulk Edit
If you select multiple assets in the asset list and click Bulk Edit, this screen is shown. Only the Custom Properties option is shown. Select the appropriate value on a custom property to assign it to all selected assets.
Manage Custom Properties
Manage Custom Properties lets you create asset properties specific to your fleet. This gives you strong control over tracking individual asset information as well as filtering reports to relevant segments of your fleet.
At this time you may create a maximum of five (5) custom properties.

Custom Properties: Displays existing custom properties for your company with the following information:
- Property: The name of the property.
- Values: The possible selections each asset in your fleet might have for this property.
- Edit: Click to edit the property name or values, or delete the property entirely.
- +Add custom property: Click to create a new custom property.
Add custom property
Click +Add custom property to bring up a pop-up window which provides the following fields and options:
- Property Name: The name of the overall property being tracked. For example, Operational Status, Fleet, Cab Type, and so on.

Values: Individual values that can be applied to assets. For example, if the property is Fleet, then each asset may be in either the white or yellow fleet, resulting in the values White and Yellow. One value field is shown when the window first appears, but more can be added as needed.
- If too many value fields are present, click next to that field to remove it.
- + Add value: Click to add an extra value field. Use this button until the property has enough values to cover your needs.
- Cancel: Click to close the window without saving the property.
- Save: Click to create the custom property with the values provided.
Edit custom property
Click Edit on an existing property to bring up a pop-up window which provides the following fields and options:
- Property Name: The name of the overall property being tracked. For example, Operational Status, Fleet, Cab Type, and so on.

Values: Individual values that can be applied to assets.
For example, if the property is Fleet, then each asset may be in either
the
white or yellow fleet, resulting in the values White and Yellow. One
value

needed.

- + Add value: Click to add an extra value field. Use this button until the property has enough values to cover your needs.

Delete property: Click to delete this property and remove the values from your assets.
Deleting a property is irreversible! If a property is deleted by accident, then it will need to be recreated and each asset reassigned its value.
- Cancel: Click to close the window without saving the property.
- Save: Click to create the custom property with the values provided.
