The USB EC24 Camera is an externally-mounted camera that works with the Coach DashCam to provide an additional view from the vehicle in Zonar Coach.

Camera Installation
- Mount the USB EC24 camera to the outside of the vehicle using the mounting bracket. Mounting hardware not included.
Align the camera to face away from the vehicle by adjusting the side bolts on the bracket.
Proper alignment of the image can only be verified after pulling an image in the Coach portal. The Rideview installer app does not show an alignment image for this camera.
- Connect the camera cable to the extension cable with the M8 connectors.
- Feed the cable through the inside of the vehicle to the cab of the vehicle. Secure the cable to make sure it is not loose along the path to the cab.
- Connect the M8 to Mini USB Adapter.
- Remove the port cover and cable from the DashCam camera.
- Plug the mini USB connector to the port on the primary camera in the cab.
- Re-insert the DashCam cable connector into the camera, making sure the connector shroud fits securely over the EC24 cable.
- Re-install the DashCam port cover.
- Secure the cable in the lining of the vehicle.
- Activate and configure the camera in the Zonar Coach portal. See "Camera Configuration" to associate the USB EC24 camera with the primary Zonar DashCam.
Camera Configuration
The USB EC24 camera must be associated with the primary camera of the vehicle. The external camera is turned on in the asset (camera) settings in the Zonar Coach portal.
- Navigate to the Zonar Coach portal.
- Click Assets in the side menu.
- Search for the Asset ID of the primary camera in the vehicle.
- Click the arrow under "Configurations" for the Asset.
- Click the toggle to turn on "External Camera (DMS)".
- Click Save.
- Click the Edit Asset icon.
- In the Multi-View Configurations section, click Add More Cameras.
- Select "UVC" from the "Source" dropdown menu.
Select a view description from the "View" dropdown menu.
"Rear Blind Spot" is appropriate for a rear-facing camera.
- Select the resolution for the camera from the "Resolution" dropdown menu.
- Click Save Details to continue.
