The Inspection History report displays a record of submitted EVIR inspections within the specified filters. The report allows you to drill down to view an individual inspection or an asset's repair history.
Filters
- Search to filter: Type to search for a specific asset, inspector, or division. Click the tabs in the search box to select which type you are looking for.

Date Range: Click to define the range of time issues should filter to. Defaults to previous 7 days. Available options:
- Today
- Previous 7 days
- Previous 14 days
- Previous 30 days
- Previous 365 days
- Custom: Click the starting date on the calendar, then click the ending date to define your desired date range.
- Asset Type: Click to select one or more asset types as defined in Manage Assets.
- Inspection Name: Click to select one or more inspection configurations by name.
- Inspection Type: Click to select one or more inspection configurations by type.

Severity: Click to select inspections matching one or more severity levels:
- No Defects: No defects found.
- Minor Defects: The defect is a concern, but the vehicle is safe to drive.
- Major Defects: The vehicle is not safe to drive until the defect is repaired.
- Reset Filters: Click to reset all changed filters back to default. This is grayed out if all filters are already default.
Results

Severity: Displays an icon indicating how severe the most severe defect in the inspection is.
- No Defects: No defects found.
- Minor Defects: The defect is a concern, but the vehicle is safe to drive.
- Major Defects: The vehicle is not safe to drive until the defect is repaired.
- Date: Displays the date the inspection took place.
- Time: Displays the time the inspection took place. The timezone is matched to your computer settings.
- Asset Number: Displays the asset name as defined in Manage Assets. Click to navigate to the Asset Defect and Repair History page for that asset.
- Asset Type: Displays the asset type as defined in Manage Assets.
- Insp. Name: Displays the name of inspection performed. Click to navigate to the Inspection Details screen for that inspection.
- Insp. Type: Displays the type of inspection performed.
- Inspector: Displays the person who performed the inspection.
- Asset Location: Displays the asset location as defined in Manage Assets.
Inspection Details
Clicking on the name of an inspection opens the Inspection Details screen for that inspection. This screen displays information about the asset, the inspector, and any defects found.
Asset Details
- Asset Number: Displays the asset name as defined in Manage Assets.
- DOT: Displays the DOT number for the company, if entered.
- VIN: Displays the asset's VIN, if available.
- Power Unit: Displays the asset name for DOT purposes as defined in Manage Assets.
- Rental: Displays Yes if marked as a rental asset.
- Asset Location: Displays the asset location as defined in Manage Assets.
Inspection Details
- Date: Displays the date the inspection took place.
- Time: Displays the time the inspection took place.
- Inspector: Displays the person who performed the inspection.
- License: Displays the inspector's license number as defined in Manage Drivers.
- Jurisdiction: Displays state of license as defined in Manage Drivers.
- Location: Displays the nearest street address to where the inspection was performed.
- Duration: Displays the length of the inspection in HH:MM:SS format.
- Odometer: Displays the vehicle odometer at the time of inspection.
Other details may be displayed if configured in the inspection type.
Defects
All defects are displayed in the lower right of the inspection details screen.
Defects Only: Click in the upper right of the inspection details screen to toggle whether all zone scans are displayed. By default, only defects are shown.
- Zone and Severity: Displays the name of the zone and whether the defect is minor or critical.
- Component > Condition: Displays the component in the inspected zone and its condition.
- Comment: Displays comments if entered by the inspector.
- Inspected at: Displays the time when the defect was marked.
- Mechanic: If the defect has been repaired, displays the mechanic who made the repair.
- Resolution: If the defect has been repaired, displays the repair resolution (for example, repaired, replaced, etc.).
- Comments: If the defect has been repaired, displays any comments entered by the mechanic.
