An IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique number used to identity a device and its specifications. For certain troubleshooting procedures with Samsung Tab Active tablets an IMEI may be requested. Here are a few methods to locate the IMEI on your Samsung device.
Locating an IMEI While Logged In
From the Home screen:
- Tap on the All Apps icon in the bottom center of the screen.
- Tap the Knox Manage application.
If Knox Manage is not available for selection tap on Zonar Settings and tap Open Knox Manage. - Once opened, the IMEI will be visible.
From the Settings screen:
- Pull down the notification tray from the top of the tablet screen.
- Tap on the cogwheel icon in the top right corner.
- Scroll down and tap About Tablet.
- The device's IMEI will be listed below the Serial Number.
Locating an IMEI While Logged Out
- Tap and hold the blue person icon to the left of Driver Login.
- This will open Zonar Settings, tap Open Knox Manage.
- Once opened, the IMEI will be visible.
Locating an IMEI Externally
Samsung Tab Active Tablets
- Remove the device from any docking station it may be fasten into.
- Flip over the tablet and remove its rubber protective case
- The IMEI is printed on a sticker near the center.
MioWORK F840 Tablet
- Flip over the tablet.
- The IMEI is printed on a sticker on the bottom center of the tablet. There are two IMEI numbers listed on the sticker. Typically, the first IMEI is the number to reference.
