Account Creation
Your FieldSync account will be created when your order is processed. The necessary login credentials will then be emailed to whomever initiated the FieldSync request.
For planning purposes software configuration should take about 15-30 minutes, depending on the size of the company.
Configure Your Settings
Customize your FieldSync software settings to align with your business requirements. These include:
Account Settings
Account Settings are global settings for the software, including the business work hours, and logo for correspondence.
Skillsets
Skillsets are used for categorization purposes such as Technician abilities or the geographic areas one person might work versus another. Skillsets are used during the scheduling process to select Technicians. Skillsets should be input prior to the creation of Technicians and/or Jobs.
Employees
Employees are the login credentials for the FieldSync software. There are three types: Account Administrator, Coordinator and Technician.
Pricebook Items
Inventory: Physical Parts (switches, capacitors, thermostats, etc…) are loaded into FieldSync manually or via QuickBooks integration for inventory control purposes. The Quantity on Hand is updated as Inventory items are added to Invoices, allowing up to date inventory data.
Service: Known job types can be pre-set in the FieldSync software with defined durations and required skillsets. Having available Services to choose from for the most common tasks enables faster scheduling.
Operations within the Equipment section do not need to be carried out. While this won't cause any issues, it also doesn't activate any functions.
Customer Database
If you have existing customer data, import them into the FieldSync software to streamline your operations. Customers are input via manual process, unless utilizing the QuickBooks integration. Customer data from QuickBooks will be imported during the integration process.
Generate Reports
Leverage the reporting and analytics capabilities of your FieldSync software to gain insights into your field operations. Generate reports on key performance indicators such as service response times, estimate statuses, and company performance reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize your processes.
Continuous Improvement
