Skillsets serve as an organizational tool within FieldSync, primarily used for categorizing Technicians for scheduling purposes. They encapsulate essential information about the Technician, including their capabilities, geographic work areas, and work schedules. These elements are crucial for consideration during the job scheduling process. Skillsets employ simplified and efficient naming conventions, enabling quick identification and utilization of these key elements.
Skillsets are created by the Account Administrator, within the Admin Portal. It is recommended to build the Skillset list prior to beginning Employee creation. Skillset creation is unlimited.
Skillsets are listed on the right-hand side of the Admin Portal, under the Employees section.
To input a Skillset, scroll down and press the blue ‘+ New Skillset’ button.
Enter a unique Skillset Name and if desired, a Description, then press Save.
Skillsets can be deleted at any time by clicking the trashcan icon. When deleting a Skillset, do not forget to update any affected Technicians.
