This report displays the activity of any assets that have I/Os installed and activated one or more times. It also shows the total count and duration for the specified date range of the I/Os with activity. This report can also be filtered to show all assets regardless of I/O activity, which can be used to troubleshoot assets that should have active I/Os.
To access the Input Module report, from the main menu click Reports, then go to Custom Reports and click Input Module.
Filters
Select from the following options to generate a specified report:
Asset No. | Displays the assigned number to identify an asset. If left on the default option the report will generate for “All Assets.” Clicking the drop-down menu will allow the user to specify an asset. Displays the assigned number to identify an asset. If left on the default option the report will generate for “All Assets.” Clicking the drop-down menu will allow the user to specify an asset. |
Select Zone | When a specific zone is selected in this filter, only assets that are within that zone will be displayed. |
Attribute Filters | Displays characteristics that can be assigned to one or more assets, creating customizable groups. This preset filter can be applied to the report through this drop-down. Admin Attributes. |
Select Attributes | Displays the assets that have the specific attribute(s). |
Input | Select from the following inputs installed on an asset to view their activity. These I/Os are physically installed to the asset in order to relay information that is triggered by that specific event. I/Os are physically installed on assets so that they can relay information on that specific event. If more than one input is installed, then a drop-down menu will be provided. Example – A school bus may have an I/O installed to the stop arm of the bus to keep track of when that arm is activated. |
I/O Events | Select to only show assets that have I/O events or show all assets regardless of I/O activity. |
Status | Select the status of the assets to either view those that are currently active or those currently inactive. |
Input Duration | Clicking on the drop down menus allows the user to specify the time duration they would like to set for the generated report. Selecting longer than or shorter than followed by the specified hour, minute, and seconds will complete the required options. Example – If the user wanted to see if the stop arm of a school bus was active for longer than 1 minute, the user would select “longer than” and 01 minutes from the minute drop down menu. |
Date Range | Select from the range of dates such as today, yesterday, last 30 days, or longer. Note that the user must pick a beginning date as well as an ending date in order to generate the report. |
Results
Asset No. | Clicking on the Asset Info icon will display the available asset information. Clicking on the asset will display all EVIRs reported for that asset. |
I/O Events | Displays the total count of I/O events that have occurred based on the filters specified. |
Duration | Displays the total duration of time all I/O events were active. |
Distance | Displays the total distance traveled while the I/O events were active. |
Location | Displays the Path Report with the assets path and associated I/O events called out on the map. Click on the link to view the associated Path Report. |
