The ZTrak location report displays the location of each ZTrak at the time of the last phone home, which is typically every 24 hours for this type of GPS device.
To access the ZTrak Location report, on the main menu, click Reports, then under GPS Track & Trace, select ZTrak.
Two reports are available on this page. The Location report will always be presented first.
Filters
| Show All Assets/Only Assets Within # Miles | By default, Show All Assets are returned. It is possible to return only assets within a specific radius of a specific address. Select Show Only Assets Within # miles of, and then enter the distance and address. |
| Attribute Filters | Select a custom-defined attribute for narrowing your search results; for example, vehicle type, project site name, or region. Learn more about Admin Attributes. |
| Attributes | Select an custom attribute from the list. Learn more about Admin Attributes. |
| Zone Filters | Displays only assets in the selected zone. |
Once the filters have been selected, click Apply to generate results.
Results
Results may be displayed in one of two ways:
Map
By default, the results appear in the Map view. This view provides all the information for each ZTrak on the left and their location(s) on the map to the right. For help with maps, read the Map Overview topic.
| Sort | By default, the location results list is sorted by Asset Number. Expand the dropdown menu and select Position Date to resort the data by date. |
| Location Results | Displays each ZTrak asset. Click a Location Result in the list to highlight the asset on the map and display its information. This includes the additional Reported Date and links to view this specific asset in list view or view the related asset history. Each Location Results item includes the following information: Asset No.—Identification number assigned to this asset. Address—The last known address for the asset. Out of Coverage—If an asset was able to record its GPS point, but unable to phone home at that time, it will display as Out of Coverage. This information is then included in a later phone home, when the asset regained cellular coverage. Position Date—The last date and time the asset established a GPS lock. Tip: If there are more assets than displayable, at the bottom of the list use the navigation |

On the map, click a location pin to view the Asset Information popup menu displaying the following: Click View in List to change the results table to List view, or click View asset history to view all past location information for this asset on the History tab. |
List
Displays all the same data except the location of the asset on a map. Review the following example of the list view:
| Asset No. | The asset number of the reported asset. |
| Position Date | Displays the last date and time the asset established a GPS lock. |
| Reported Date | Displays the date and time the ZTrak phoned home with location information. |
| Address | Displays the last known address for the asset. Note: Out of Coverage indicates that the asset was able to record its position, but unable to send the location when it attempted to phone home. This information is then included in a later phone home, when the asset regained cellular coverage. |
| Zone | If the asset’s location resides inside a zone, then that zone name is displayed. |
