The Overlap Path report provides the path data for one or more assets. It is similar to the Path report; however, one benefit of the Overlap Path report is the added ability to compare the same asset during different dates. It also allows you to track an asset's route accurately.
The Overlap Path report does NOT provide the additional event information that can be added in the Path Report.
The Overlap Path report returns path data for whole days and only one day at a time.
To access the Overlap Path report, on the main menu, click Reports, and then under GPS Track & Trace select Overlap Path.
The Filter pane appears by default. Under Asset No, select up to five assets, define a From date for each asset, and then click Generate Report. Data matching your criteria will appear on the map. Unlike the Path Report, you can select the same asset multiple times, defining different dates.
The Map will display idle events. Learn more about using maps in GTC. The results table displays the following information matching your search criteria:
Asset No. | Displays the asset no matching your search criteria. Click Info to display the available information for the asset. |
Graph | Click Speed Graph to open the Speed Graph pop-up window. Learn more about the Speed Graph in GTC. |
Date Range | Displays the date specified in From filter for each asset returned. |
Distance | Displays the total distance traveled during the path being reported. |
Max Speed | Displays the maximum speed during the path being reported. Click or to display the location of the event on the map. |
Max Idle | Displays the maximum idle time during the path being reported. Click or to display the location of the event on the map. Click the time to display the Idle Time report. |
Max Stop | Displays the maximum amount of time the asset was stopped or parked (time between engine off and engine on events) during the path being reported. Click to display the location of the event on the map. Click the time to display Stop Time report. |
Export | Choose one of three formats to export the path report: export to Google Earth KML file export to Shapefile export to Excel file. |
