Overview
The Driver Hours report allows fleet managers the ability to quickly review hours spent in duty status across a range of days for each driver, with the ability to drill down into hours for individual days.
Filters
- Location/Dispatcher: Click the switch to filter by either dispatcher or location, then click the dropdown to select a specific dispatcher or location.
- Group By Driver: When in Table mode, click this switch to toggle between Grouped By Driver and Not Grouped By Driver.

Table Filters: Click each dropdown to filter by that detail. The chart will automatically update once you make a selection and click Apply on a filter.
- Home Location: Specifies the locations for the report. Click to see all available locations and select one if desired to access the driver hours for that location.
- Date Range: Specifies the date range for the report. Drivers with recorded hours within this date range will be displayed. Click to select a particular date range up to 6 months. Defaults to past 14 days.
- Ruleset: Specifies the ruleset to display for the report, to aid in easier comparison of hours used between drivers. Click to select from rulesets used across the account. Use the search bar to narrow the list of rulesets if needed. Click the box next to each desired entry to select multiple rulesets.
- Driver: Specifies drivers who have recorded hours during the date range. Use the search bar to narrow the list of drivers if searching for a specific driver. Click the box next to each desired entry to select multiple drivers.
- Tag ID: Specifies tag IDs for drivers who have recorded hours during the date range. Use the search bar to narrow the list of IDs if searching for a specific driver. Click the box next to each desired entry to select multiple IDs.
- EXSID: Specifies external system IDs for drivers who have recorded hours during the date range. Use the search bar to narrow the list of IDs if searching for a specific driver. Click the box next to each desired entry to select multiple IDs.
- Table/Chart: Click to toggle between Chart view and Table view. Table view can be further refined by clicking the Group By Driver toggle.
- Export (CSV): Click to generate a downloadable comma-separated value (CSV) file which can be opened in Excel or other spreadsheet software. The file contains only filtered events.
The Driver Hours report offers three different views: Chart, Grouped By Driver, and Not Grouped By Driver.
Chart
Access the Chart view by toggling Table/Chart to Chart.
This view displays total driver hours by duty status in a pie chart based on selected filters. Hovering over each pie slice displays the duty status and total hours. Clicking a slice separates it from the rest of the pie as a visualization aid.
Table - Grouped By Driver
Access the Grouped By Driver view by toggling Table/Chart to Table and toggling Group By Driver to on.
This view displays a list of drivers who have recorded driver hours within the date range specified in Table Filters. The total hours for each duty status within the date range are listed in columns. Click a column header to sort by that column.
Click a driver to expand the entry and display information on that driver's hours.
Totals for the date range remain displayed on the original driver line.
Averages shows the average hours spent in each duty status per day. These averages take days with no hours for a given duty status into account.
The Hours section shows hours by duty status for each day.
Table - Not Grouped By Driver
Access the Not Grouped By Driver view by toggling Table/Chart to Table and toggling Group By Driver to off.
This view displays the hours for each day for each driver without the need to expand the display. This view does not display totals across the full date range; use Group By Driver to display totals.
