Z Pass Events track when a cardholder enters and exits a vehicle. Events are created automatically when a card is read by a Z Pass scanner.
Z Pass Event Report
Recorded events will display in the Z Pass Event Report.
- Last Name: The last name of the cardholder.
- First Name: The first name of the cardholder.
- Card No: The ID number of the RFID card assigned to the cardholder.
- CH Type: Shows if the cardholder is a student, an aide, or a driver.
- Unique ID: A custom ID associated with the cardholder. This ID cannot be shared with other cardholders.
- Asset No.: This is the vehicle name or number associated with the event.
- Zone: The geofence location of where the event was reported.
- Group: The location or category assigned to the cardholder.
- Date: When the event was created.
- Event Type: Displays a value if the card scan was not read as a Normal event.
- Event Summary: Clicking the carrot icon will open a window with a summary of the event.
- The Details tab show information about the event and a map display of where the card was scanned.

Export: Clicking this button will generate a CSV file of the events listed in the Z Pass Events Report. Exports will include additional vehicle information, geolocation coordinates, and event authorship. Filter choices will affect the data exported.
Filters
The Z Pass Events Report can be adjusted with the following filter options:
| Last Name | The last name of the cardholder. |
| First Name | The first name of the cardholder. |
| Date Range | An adjustable date range for scan results. Date range options include: Today Previous 7 Days Previous 14 Days Previous 30 Days Previous 365 Days Custom: Up to 3 years. Time Range: Filters results to only show scans that were recorded during a set period of time. Start and End times can be set to the nearest 15 minutes. |
| Group | Groups are custom filters used to indicate a location or category applicable to cardholders. All cardholder are required to have a Group assigned to their profile. |
| Cardholder Type | Rider: A cardholder defined as being transported. Aide: A cardholder defined as a person assisting other cardholders while being transported. Driver: A cardholder defined as operating the asset. |
| Show Ignored Events | NEED NEW DEFINITION By default these scans do not populate in the Events report. |
| Unique ID | An ID associated with the cardholder. This ID cannot be reused. |
| Asset No | This is the vehicle name or number associated with the event. |
| Event Type | Created Events: Current Report Does not have option to add or edit events. Edited Events: Current Report Does not have option to add or edit events. Inactive Card: Z Pass recorded a read on an asset but the RFID is set to “Inactive” Incomplete Data: Z Pass recorded a read on an asset but one or more of the following was not included from the GPS unit: Time, Odometer, Address, GPS Coordinates, or Asset ID. Normal Events: This is an event created when Z Pass recorded a scan on an asset by an active RFID card. Unassigned Card: Z Pass recorded a read on an asset but the RFID has never been assigned to a rider. |
