Assigning Wayfinder to the Active Button

The Active button on Samsung Tab Active3 and Tab Active5 tablets can be customized to open applications when pressed.

This guide shows how to enable the Active button to open an application, using Wayfinder as an example.

Assigning Wayfinder to the Active button.

1. With the tablet powered on swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick Settings panel.
2. Tap the Settings icon.
   
3. In the Settings menu tap Advanced features > then tap Active button.
   
4. Under Actions tap Press.
   
5. A list of available applications will appear. Tap Wayfinder.
   
6. Wayfinder has now been assigned to the Active button and will open when pressed.
