The Dashboard tab allows users to review fleet performance data at a glance. Fleet information is displayed through simplified user-created reports called Gadgets.
Dashboards are saved to the user profiles who create them and are not shared across an account.
Managing Dashboards
Users can create multiple dashboards depending on what information they want to track. After a dashboard is created and populated with gadgets they can be edited based on individual preferences.
Create a Dashboard
To create a new dashboard, follow these steps:
- In the top left corner click the Dashboard
icon.
- Click New Dashboard.
- In the right side panel enter the name of the new Dashboard.
- Click Save.
This new dashboard will be blank until gadgets have been added. If multiple dashboards have been created they can be opened by clicking the Dashboard icon.
Add a Gadget
A Dashboard will not display any fleet information until a gadget has been created. To add a gadget to a dashboard follow these steps:
In the top right corner click Edit.
Click the plus
icon next to the Dashboard's title.
This will open a side panel of available gadget types.
Offline Devices: Displays a filterable list of devices that have recently reported as offline. This gadget can be adjusted to refresh how frequently it gathers this data and by the category of device being tracked.
Chart: Summarizes Ignition reports in either a pie or column chart. This gadget can track different report types and have its data filtered by refresh frequency, and by full fleets or individual Tags over a set period of time.
Recent Alerts: Provides a list of triggered alerts over a chosen period of time. Results can be filtered based on alert types, vehicle or driver association, and for full fleets, individual units, or specific Tags.
Landmark Visit: Tracks the amounts of visits and total time a vehicle has spent in a Landmark. Results can be adjusted based on the Landmark, the number of visits, and the total time spent within that Landmark.
Landmark Real Time: Displays a list of Landmarks that are currently occupied and the vehicles within. Results can be adjusted to show individual or all Landmarks currently active.
Emission Check: Creates a pie chart that summarizes recent Emissions Check report data. The frequency the displayed data is refreshed can be adjusted.
After selecting a gadget, fill in any required information and click Save.
The gadget will now display on the Dashboard. In the top right corner click Save to finish.
