Overview
All companies adhering to the Hours of Service (HOS) federal mandate operate under a federal level ruleset or a state level ruleset. Drivers and driver managers are responsible for making sure that each driver adheres to the clauses governing the ruleset. Clauses primarily revolve around hours of drive time permitted, hours of rest break needed for the driver, hours the driver can work, and so on. This is to protect drivers, ensure safety on the road and also consider their health benefits. If any clause under the rule set for driver operation is violated, the result is a HOS violation.
FMCSA mandates that fleets must keep their driver violations within a certain limit.
The HOS Violations insight provides driver managers access to the number of violations for the period chosen so they can take appropriate action to reduce the violations.

This view displays a list of drivers who have recorded at least one violation within the date range specified in Table Filters.
Click a driver's entry to expand the list and display that driver's individual violations.
Table - Not Grouped By Driver
