Driver Records provide additional information regarding Driver activity.
Drivers can be searched one at a time, using the Driver dropdown menu.
After selecting a Driver, set the Start-End Date and desired status.
Event Origin is used to narrow down the data based on where it came from: Automatically Recorded, Edited or Entered by Driver, Edit Requested by Other Than Drive or Assumed from Unidentified Driver Profile.
The most important field is the Event Type. This is where the exact information desired is defined. When did a Driver log in/log out? Has there been any Personal Use or Yard Move? What Duty-Status changes have been made? Have any Malfunctions occurred?
One of the most important items to view are the Malfunctions/Diagnostics.
Malfunctions and Data Diagnostics indicate that something within the ELD setup isn’t working. While the problem can be viewed from here, no solution can be applied. The Driver will need to address the issue from their end via the Driver App. An indicator will be visible for them to view and fix the problem.
The presence of Malfunctions should be monitored regularly and Drivers should always be followed up with to ensure the issues are being resolved. Use of the Malfunction notifications is recommended.
