Most permission settings in Zonar Ignition impact the visibility of the data gathered by fleets and the tools used to display that information.
The Account permission provides granular access to the Account Tab; allowing companies to limit what actions can be performed by users without disabling the tab from the side panel.
Account Permissions
To open the Account permissions, from the Roles menu click the Permission Settings icon next to the Allow
toggle.
Once opened, there are two categories of permissions: Global Access and Local Access.
The Global Access permission enables or disables the Account tab from the side panel. If disabled the Local Access permissions will also be disabled.
The Local Access permissions determine what subtabs in the Account tab that users will have access to and what actions can be performed.
View permissions allow users to open subtabs and review listed items.
Edit permissions allow users to add, change, and delete items listed in a subtab.
If all permissions in a Local Access category are disabled that subtab will be made inaccessible to the User or Role category.
