The Maintenance tab collects reported vehicle inspection defects, engine diagnostics, and emissions data from a fleet and presents them in an easy to search and sort dashboard.
Data on this dashboard is sorted into accessible tabs, supporting both individual vehicle overviews and broad summary data for company fleets.
Asset View
The Asset View tab displays the Maintenance Management dashboard's data on an asset-by-asset basis. To open an asset overview use the left side Assets menu to search and select a vehicle. Once selected, the main panel of the tab will display the asset's maintenance information.
The Asset View has four sections that contains relevant maintenance data.
Overview: The Overview subtab lists the vehicle's reported EVIR Defects, Diagnostic Trouble Codes, Emissions Statuses, and recent activity.
Defects: The Defects subtab lists the vehicle's recent EVIR defects. This includes any defects in an Open, Pending Repair, or Critical status.
DTCs: The DTCs subtab lists any recently reported Diagnostic Trouble Codes for the vehicle. This includes any Active DTCs, DTCs that that merit checking the vehicle's engine, and DTCs that merit stopping vehicle activity until addressed.
Emissions Status: Emissions Status tab lists the vehicle's most recent Emissions Check results. This feature is for vehicles that are required to participate in the California Air Resource Board's Clean Truck Check program.
Defects
The Defects tab displays the EVIR inspection history of a fleet. Any EVIR inspection that reported a defect will display here.
EVIR results can be filtered by Date Range, Repair Status, and Severity. Results can be filtered down even more based on the asset, the inspection zone, and component of the inspection associated with the reported defect.
Defects can also be quickly sorted with the summary cards below the filter bar and with the By Component and By Zone bar on the left side of the tab.
Reviewing Defects
Defect information is displayed in a table. Columns can be toggled on and off with the Show/Hide Columns button. Table data can be download by clicking the Export
button.
Defects can reviewed by clicking the View icon at the right end of its line. This will open the Defect Details summary which will list the Asset Information, the Defect Information, and who reported the defect. At the bottom of the summary open defects can be marked as Pending, Repair Not Needed, and Repaired. If any option is selected, an additional menu will open and ask for repair details before the status change can be submitted.
Diagnostics
The Diagnostics tab provides all J1939, J1708, and J1587 JBUS fault codes, DTCs, and diagnostic events reported by a fleet. These alerts are sorted based on their status; prioritizing alerts that are classified as Check Engine and Stop Engine events.
Diagnostics divides alerts data into the following tabs:
Asset Summary: Sorts diagnostic events based on the assets that reported the events.
Issue View: Sorts diagnostic events based on broader issues associated with the reported events.
Event View: Sort diagnostic events on an event-by-event basis.
