Status
In the Status tab drivers can fill out their time clocks through Statuses. Statuses can be started or ended by tapping on a listed status and then tapping Confirm. If a status accumulates work time the Status tab will start a running clock for that event.
The running clock will reset if the driver changes their status and will stop entirely if the driver selects the Clock Out status.
Location tracking must be enabled on the driver's smart device in order to register a new status.
History
The History tab displays a list of the most recent statuses selected by the driver.
Each entry will list the chosen status, the time the status started, the approximate street address the smart device recorded when the status started, and the duration of the status.
Status selections cannot be edited in the app. Statuses can be corrected by an administrator in Zonar Ignition's Manage tab.
Vehicle Assignment
The Vehicle Assignment menu lets drivers pair their driver profile with a company asset. Once paired Zonar Ignition will update its reports with the assigned vehicle, giving dispatchers greater visibility on how their fleet is being utilized.
Drivers can assign themselves to a vehicle by searching for its Unit Label, tapping Assign and then confirming.
Once assigned, the Vehicle Assignment menu will list the selected unit as the Current Vehicle.
Drivers can unassign themselves from a vehicle by tapping Unassign and then confirming.
Forms
The Forms menu displays customized documents--known as Forms--that a company has tasked a driver to fill out and submit as a part of their work responsibilities.
Tapping a listed form will open the driver's use history of that document type.
Tapping the Add button will open a new form.
Once a form has been filled out it can be saved as a draft or submitted to Zonar Ignition for administrators to review.
Forms cannot be edited once submitted to Zonar Ignition.
Chat
The Chat menu allows drivers to communicate between between fellow operators and administrators within the Zonar Ignition Driver application.
Tapping the Add button and selecting a listed contact will open a new conversation.
Messages are limited to text. Conversations can be limited.
Conversations recorded on the app are not private. Transcripts can be accessed on Zonar Ignition.
Routes
The Routes menu displays job assignments--known as Stops--sent to the driver.
Consolidated into groups called Routes, drivers can use this menu to navigate to stops, notify administrators of stop statuses, and view an optimized map of their assigned Route.
Job site navigation requires external application access.
Video
The Video menu shows any reported camera event assigned to a driver's profile.
Events are reviewed individually. When an event is selected a video recording of the incident will play. Drivers can accept or dispute assigned events. By tapping the Settings button drivers can also download and share a copy of the event recording.
This menu will only appear for companies with cameras on their account.
Settings
The Settings menu allows drivers to toggle the default language of the Zonar Ignition Driver application and to log out of the application.
English and Spanish are the only supported languages in the Zonar Ignition Driver application.
Logging out of the Zonar Ignition Driver app does not adjust Time Clock statuses or Vehicle Assignments.
